The agencies are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Park Service<\/li>\n<li>U.S. Forest Service<\/li>\n<li>U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service<\/li>\n<li>Bureau of Land Management<\/li>\n<li>Bureau of Reclamation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Interagency Pass<\/h1>\n<p>Some of the agencies offer a variety of other passes, but if you are visiting these lands more than a few times this year, you will want the interagency pass. \u00a0There are five varieties of these passes that all provide the same access but have varying costs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Annual Pass $80 available to everyone<\/li>\n<li>Annual Pass for U.S. military FREE<\/li>\n<li>Senior Pass $10 for those over age 62 and good for your lifetime<\/li>\n<li>Access Pass for those with a permanent disability FREE<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer Pass for those that have volunteered at least 250 hours to one of the agencies FREE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you already have Golden Access or\u00a0Golden Age Passports, they are no longer sold, but\u00a0will continue to be honored.<\/p>\n<p>For the most part, \u00a0these passes will cover entrance fees to get you into\u00a0the Parks and other\u00a0lands, but there may be additional charges for \u00a0camping and other activities.<\/p>\n<p>To get all the details about each type of pass and how to get one, \u00a0check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/findapark\/passes.htm\" target=\"_blank\">the National Park Service&#8217;s page on the topic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h1>Please Share<\/h1>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Save Money at Federal Lands With fees rising at most of the National Parks and more people traveling this summer due to lower gasoline prices, it&#8217;s time to get your Federal Recreational Lands Pass to save a lot of money on park entrance fees and other costs.
