You are, wisely, scared to death of those grizzlies.<\/p>\n<p>You, as the human mother, have to get your kids safely across the bridge with all those dangerous grizzly bears (or zombies) around. \u00a0What would you do? \u00a0Would it be easier for you if those grizzly bears just stood there on the edge of the road and allowed you to proceed down the middle? \u00a0What if they decided to follow along beside you? \u00a0Would that make you more comfortable? \u00a0What if the grizzly bears decided to run along beside you?<\/p>\n<p>The video below was shot in Yellowstone National Park and\u00a0recently released by Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks. \u00a0Watch it and see if you could do any better than the mother bear did in getting her frightened\u00a0kids across the bridge.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Black Bear Encounter\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5OrnHISGqi0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>The general rule in Yellowstone National Park is to stay 25 to 100 yards away from bears and other\u00a0unpredictable wildlife. \u00a0These tourists didn&#8217;t pay any attention to that rule. \u00a0Nor did they pay any attention to the Park Ranger that told them to get off the bridge and into their cars before the bears got too close. \u00a0These cubs are over a year old, but if they had been this year&#8217;s cubs, that mother would have been far more protective and much more dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>I offered up <a href=\"https:\/\/explore.globalcreations.com\/theblog\/featured\/nine-tips-for-surviving-in-bear-country\/\">some pointers on safety in bear country<\/a> awhile back, but that mostly made sense if you live around bears or happen to be hiking in the back country. \u00a0In situations like in this video, one would need to apply some common sense \u2013\u00a0apparently no one, except the bears, did.<\/p>\n<h1>Please Share and Comment<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">#yellowstone \u00a0#bears<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What would you do?
