Love Song to the Earth and Louie Schwartzberg

Love Song to the Earth is a song and video that was presented to the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris in December of 2015.  Representatives from 190 countries were there to see the premiere.  It features performances by Sean Paul, Sir Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Fergie, Colbie Caillat, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis, Johnny Rzeznik, Krewella, Angelique Kidjo, Kelsea Ballerini, Nicole Scherzinger, Christina Grimmie, Victoria Justice and Q’Orianka Kilcher. Royalties from purchases of the song go to Friends of the Earth and the U.N. Foundation to inspire international action on climate change.  Here’s the video:

The Love Song to the Earth video was shot by cinematographer Louie Schwartzberg and includes many places, scenes and seasons you may want to explore. Schwartzberg often examines the planet and aspects of nature that you may have missed in your adventures.  He has won two Clio Awards for Best Environmental Public Service Spots, an Emmy nomination for Best Cinematography for the Discovery Channel Special, Oceans of Air, and the Heartland Film Festival’s Truly Moving Picture Award for Walt Disney Pictures’ release, America’s Heart & Soul. Louie was recognized as one of the top 70 Cinematographers for the On Film Kodak Salute Series.
