Resolutions

When making your New Year resolutions, consider something about getting outdoors and in touch with nature. With this and any other resolution:

  • be realistic – so you aren’t doomed to failure; don’t make too many resolutions – only those you really want to accomplish
  • be specific and clear – so you know if you accomplished it or not
  • create a plan – so you know the steps to take to reach your goal; include milestones, with dates, to help keep your focus
  • get committed – try a commitment device
  • keep your resolution in mind – put a note on your mirror or computer or wherever you will see it every day
  • celebrate your success at each milestone – but stay consistent with your resolution
